There are a lot of similarities between what we do
for room decor and stage and photo design. We are trying to accomplish the same
thing as far as making something look like something else. Making a plain wall
look like a jungle, or making a stage look like a western town. The main
difference is that when we are working with a stage or photo area , we are
working with a much more condensed space. We have to design everything to remain
in proportion, while creating the look that we are trying to accomplish.

This
seventy foot long sailing ship was used both for a theme area and opening
for the McLane Pacific Region trade show. It was used in conjunction with
pyrotechnics and actors for a short production.
This
is part of a photo background that was used for a safari theme Junior
Achievement dance at The Reno/Sparks Convention Center. This is one part of a
set that was designed to be shot as three separate sets for groups of different
sizes.
This
is the stage for speakers at the Sales and Marketing Magic event at The Silver
Legacy Resort/Casino. The had a summer camp theme, and were it not for the video
screen, you would probably think that you were in the forest.
The
stage seen here was used at the Scolari's Food and Drug Christmas Party 2001. They
asked us to incorporate an American Flag with a Christmas look and we decided to
use the columns with bows, toy soldiers, and oversized wrapped presents.
