Company Profile

Giraffe Inc. is the leading event décor company serving Nevada and California. Providing a wide array of services for trade-shows and conventions, stage displays and photo-backs, theme parties and weddings, we custom design and fabricate all of your event needs.

After a successful partnership at MGM, Jack Felix and Jim Baker founded Giraffe Inc. in 1986 and began providing the Reno/Tahoe area with extraordinary floral arrangements and custom centerpieces. With the MGM hosting fantastical shows and the Ziegfeld as the largest stage in the world, Giraffe Inc. was at the cutting edge of the event enhancement. In 1996, the Giraffe Inc. family said a fond goodbye to Jim Baker, as he left to pursue a career in finance. Over the years, Jack Felix guided the evolution of Giraffe Inc. to provide décor, prop rental, and floral arrangements. As the Felix family grew, so did the Giraffe Inc.shop. With an extended family of long time employees, we are able to provide the highest quality décor and personalized service.

By providing custom props, live plants, centerpieces, linens and more, Giraffe Inc. ensures that your event's theme is cohesive and complete. Some of our most popular themes are Western, Tropical, Hawaiian, Jungle, Casino, Tuscan, Vineyard, Elegant, Asian, Speakeasy, Castle, Medieval, and 50's sock-hop. The events we decorate are wildly varying, as are the props we create. Running the gamut from authentic wagons, cast African animal skulls, giant poker chips and dice, a wine press, drapery and lighting, hanging lanterns, a speakeasy entrance, a 40 foot castle, a silver train diner car, to anything else our customer could imagine.

Serving Nevada, California, and beyond, Giraffe Inc’s 16,000 square foot shop provides amazing event decoration for clientele, including Harrah's Reno and Tahoe, Harveys Resort Casino, The Grand Sierra Resort, Silver Legacy, Safari Club International, Legends Reno-Tahoe Open, The Reno Air races, Freeman Companies, Ges Exposition, Bombardier, Intel, University of Nevada-Reno, John Ascuaga's Nugget, and many more.
